Communications, Digital Content & Marketing Specialist, storyteller by trade

Stories are told every day, but the best stories are unforgettable, become memories and sometimes compel you to take action, and that is the entirety of my specialty.

Hello, I'm Stella Dziedzorm.

about the author

I spent four years in a national newsroom learning how to make people care about central bank boards, car prices and IMF loans. Now I put that to work in communications, digital content and marketing.

For brands, founders and organisations, I write thought leadership, run digital channels, build campaigns people actually stop scrolling for, and let audience insights decide what comes next.

Along the way: social-first audience growth, product marketing, global campaign communications and impact-driven storytelling. The goal never changes: ideas turned into stories that connect, engage and get results.

What I do

  • Strategic communications & storytelling narratives for founders and mission-driven brands
  • Content strategy & editorial direction one voice, every platform
  • Executive & brand communications leaders seen for the right reasons
  • PR & media stories editors want to run
  • Digital campaigns & community LinkedIn, Instagram, email
  • Analytics data in, sharper messaging out

In my pencil case

  • LinkedIn
  • Meta Business Suite
  • Google Analytics
  • Mailchimp
  • Canva
  • WordPress
  • Medium
  • Mighty Networks

The Newsroom

where I learned a deadline is not a suggestion

Multimedia Journalist & Digital Content Strategist

GhanaWeb has been online since 1994 and has a big national and diaspora readership. I wrote for it, filmed for it, and helped grow its audience.

  • Wrote and SEO-optimised 2,000+ articles across beats.
  • Revived GhanaWeb's social media with story-driven content calendars.
  • Used traffic and engagement data to decide what to publish next.
  • Produced and hosted shows for GhanaWeb TV (see Ch. 3).

Business Development & PR Associate

I helped a skincare brand get seen and find room to grow: funding, events, partnerships and press.

  • Found 20+ funding and growth opportunities that fit the business.
  • Vetted 30+ vendor and pop-up opportunities to put the brand in front of customers.
  • Researched publications and pitched editors and journalists.
  • Sent leadership a weekly report: opportunities, outreach, recommendations.

Mande helps students get job-ready before graduation, not five years after. My job: make students believe that, then sign up.

  • Defined the brand's positioning, voice and messaging.
  • Built a content strategy around real student worries: careers, clarity, “what now?”
  • Ran LinkedIn, Instagram and X: educational posts, threads, carousels.
  • Worked with product and design, and let engagement data steer the formats.
